Some have queried how it could be that President Putin would co-operate with President Trump to have OPEC+ push oil prices higher – when those higher prices precisely would only help sustain U.S. oil production. In effect, President Putin was being asked to underwrite a subsidy to the U.S. economy – at the expense of Russia’s own oil and gas sales – since U.S. shale production simply is not economic at these prices. In other words, Russia seemed to be shooting itself in the foot.

Who Was Panic Selling Oil Today? Goldman Answers

by Tyler Durden  Mon, 04/20/2020 – 21:42

In the annals of market history, April 20, 2020 will be forever remembered the day when, for the first time ever, the deliverable WTI future contract plunged 50%, 60% – the drop accelerating – then 70%, 80%, 90%, 99%, … and then the unthinkable happened: after the May WTI contract dropped to $0.00, meaning it was free to get delivery of oil, it proceeded to slide into negative territory – a never before seen event in market history – as oil producers were paying their customers to take delivery of physical oil in a world in which oil storage has essentially run out.

And so the price of oil tumbled, dropping further into negative territory, before finally stopping at -$40.32, the lowest price ever recorded for a barrel of WTI.

The figure is up by almost 5 million people since the organisation’s latest report last week. For over 11 weeks, an Arab military coalition has been bombing the Houthi militia, the dominant group in Yemen at the moment, in a bid to restore the country’s exiled president to power and support local fighters resisting the Houthi advance in battlefields nationwide.

➜⇢➤Canadian Oil Prices Turn Negative As Global Demand Vaporizes

Yes, producers are paying buyers to take the stuff off their hands. Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has called on the federal government to expand aid to the oil and gas industry as the price of some Canadian oil products turned negative on Monday.

Oil analysts say a growing number of producers are willing to pay buyers to take oil off their hands due to a lack of storage space for unwanted product. This is particularly true of “landlocked” producers, such as those in Alberta’s oilsands and some producers in the U.S., who have limited access to global oil shipping routes.

In the Soviet Union, activists were sent to state psychiatric wards. According to the state, any and all opposition to government policy was considered a form of mental illness.

Stephanie Buck writes about the treatment of the “social parasite” Joseph Brodsky.

In 1963, Russian poet Joseph Brodsky was seized and sent to a mental institution… Hospital workers pumped him with tranquilizers and repeatedly woke him during the night. He was given cold baths and wrapped in wet canvas that shrank and cut his skin while drying.

It is not likely German lawyer Beate Bahner will be tortured like Brodsky. However, that does not make her arrest and forced confinement in a mental institution any less egregious.

The Virus of the Lie “If we saw this pandemic as a conflict, then we could talk about two fronts,” Carl Miller, research director of the UK-based Demos Group’s Centre for Social Network Analysis, told Al Jazeera. The first line is the pressure on health services, and the second is the social and political turmoil that the virus and our response to Covid-19 have caused. “The battle against false news is key on this front,” adds Miller.

The coronavirus didn’t break America. It revealed what was already broken.

Staff writer for The Atlantic  OLIVER MUNDAY

When the virus came here, it found a country with serious underlying conditions, and it exploited them ruthlessly. Chronic ills—a corrupt political class, a sclerotic bureaucracy, a heartless economy, a divided and distracted public—had gone untreated for years. We had learned to live, uncomfortably, with the symptoms. It took the scale and intimacy of a pandemic to expose their severity—to shock Americans with the recognition that we are in the high-risk category.

Overall, 13,121 deaths involving COVID-19 occurred in England and Wales up to 10 April – and registered up to 18 April – which is 41% higher than the 9,288 people who died in UK hospitals up to 10 April reported by the Department of Health.

Trump’s Patriotic Color Revolution Call, against “Unreasonable Quarantine Demands” rump caught his political opponents flatfooted when he endorsed the patriotic protests against several Democrat Governors’ unreasonable quarantine demands, channeling the nascent Color Revolution spirit nationwide to show the rest of his compatriots that he truly has the people’s support as he gradually reopens America, which was a strategic twist to World War C that also represents his greatest counterstrike against the “deep state’s” Hybrid War on his country.

➜⇢➤ A Government Against the People

Loyalty to the president is the chief qualification The 24/7 intensified media coverage of the coronavirus story has meant that other news has either been ignored or relegated to the back pages, never to be seen again. The Middle East has been on a boil but coverage of the Trump administration’s latest moves against Iran has been so insignificant as to be invisible. Meanwhile closer to home, the declaration by the ubiquitous Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that current president of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro is a drug trafficker did generate somewhat of a ripple, as did dispatch of warships to the Caribbean to intercept the alleged drugs, but that story also died.

A timely circumstantial coincidence, is it not? And yes, it produces viruses as weapons. Research into deadly viruses and biological weapons at US army lab shut down over fears they could escape

Fort Detrick researchers banned from working with anthrax, Ebola and smallpox until procedures improved

Tuesday 6 August 2019 13:19  America’s main biological warfare lab has been ordered to stop all research into the deadliest viruses and pathogens over fears contaminated waste could leak out of the facility.

Fort Detrick, in Maryland, has been the epicentre of the US Army’s bioweapons research since the beginning of the Cold War.

But last month the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – the government’s public health body – stripped the base of its license to handle highly restricted “select agents”, which includes Ebolasmallpox and anthrax.

The unusual move follows an inspection by the CDC at Fort Detrick which found several problems with new procedures used to decontaminate waste water.

For years the facility used a steam sterilisation plant to treat waste water, but after a storm flooded and ruined that machinery last year, Fort Detrick switched to a new chemical-based decontamination system.

Iran is already beginning to challenge American naval power. The country recently reported on the development of an advanced mapping and communication network for submarines. The network consists of a complex wireless communication system called “Waza” and integrates an entire national defense project: with land and sea forces inferior to those of enemy countries, such as the United States, Iran invests in its submarine power, since it has several different classes, many of which were built by Russia decades ago and are still capable of venturing into distant waters.

And a plane hit the Pentagon..!

Why does the USA have more Corona cases than any other country?

➜⇢➤Hypothesis PHD RESEARCH- Did CIA released the virus in Wuhan to push the elite depopulation agenda, test biological weapons on the public and also slow down China from becoming the only superpower.

That market in wuhan exists for centuries. Never a virus. And now suddenly COVID-19.

In 1997, the National Research Council revealed that the US also used chemicals to test the potential of biological weapons in the 1950s. Zinc cadmium sulphide was dispersed by plane and sprayed over a number of cities, including St Louis in Missouri and Minneapolis in Minnesota.

The US has a history of testing biological weapons on the public – were infected ticks used too?

The majority of racist incidents were committed against women (62%) and 86.5% of in-person racist incidents were committed by strangers, according to the survey.

On Wednesday, Queensland police announced there had been 22 incidents of racially-motivated offences against Asian Australians in recent weeks – including robberies, assaults and verbal abuse.

In one case, a 15-year-old girl was charged by police for allegedly punching a 26-year-old woman in the face in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall after she accused her of having Covid-19.”
